【Bogaro & Clemente Violin.Viola.Cello Rosins】

This is exceptional, high-quality rosin made in Italy by the company Borgaro & Clemente.

The rosin is of their own formula, and provides wonderful grip and response which is noticeably better than the average rosin, and truly does make a positive difference in playing. What's more, Bogaro & Clemente also make very attractive and unique burl wood boxes for their rosins that not only look great, but offer great protection against shattering or chipping if dropped.

This particular rosin is formulated for violin or viola, and comes in a violin-shaped box which Bogaro & Clemente have designed to be exactly scaled to a real violin making form. "IHS" and a cross are engraved in the top of the box, a reference to famed Italian luthier Guarneri del Gesu who placed the symbol on the labels of the instruments he made ("IHS" being the abbreviation of the Latin "Iesus Hominum Salvator", meaning "Jesus, savior of men", from which Guarneri is now remembered as Guarneri del Gesu: Guarneri of Jesus).
