【Bonmusica Violin / Viola Shoulder Rests】

Bonmusica shoulder rests promote relaxed playing by keeping the head in a straight position and may be configured to optimize individual preferences. Its hooked section provides excellent support while it's flexibility allows it to be contoured to any shoulder shape. Other adjustable features allow the rest to be customized for pitch angle and height.

The padded base ‘hooks’ over the player’s shoulder, holding the instrument in place instead of it sliding off the shoulder, allowing for good technique and easy shifting and vibrato. This base also can be manipulated to fit the player’s shoulder precisely and make it as comfortable as possible. The bottom of the base is free from the legs as well and can also be adjusted.

The Bonmusica shoulder rests are German designed and German made, quality shoulder rests which are proving increasingly popular. This rest can be customised to a very high level and is ideal for players who feel their instrument can slip down, especially in the higher playing positions. The hook can be moved to provide a good anchorage at the preferred playing position. Height and tilt in two planes combined with a bendable plate allow an almost infinite range and will enable the vast majority of players to achieve a comfortable playing experience.
